Purpose. Carbon Steel Pipes &
Tubes are also utilized for medical and food industry purposes. It is
also used for line pipes in oil & petroleum industries. It is not used for potable
water or drain waste or vent lines.

welded rather than threaded. Carbon steel pipe is cut either with a heavy duty tube
cutter or cutoff saw or by hacksaw.
