| We are engaged in offering a wide range of ERW Pipes, which is available in different sizes, shapes, and other technical specifications to meet the requirements of our clients. These pipes and tubes are offered in 4 inch size (10.2 mm) with OD and below, wherein the strip is fed into a set of forming rolls. The roll comprises horizontal and vertical rollers so placed as to gradually from the flat strip into a tube.
This further allows to pass the welding electrodes. The copper disks type electrodes are connected to the secondary of a revolving transformer assembly. This helps to make contact on each side of the seam and temperature is raised to the welding point. Further, the outside flash is removed as the tube leaves the electrodes and the inside flash is wiped out by an air hammer or by passing a mandrel through the welded tube, after the tube has been cooled. This formation is known as Electric Resistance Welded or ERW Tube/Pipe.
Based on the end user customer's requirement, ERW
(electric resistance welded ) steel pipes and tube are
available in various qualities, wall thicknesses, and
diameters of the finished pipes. While manufacturing ERW
steel pipes, only high-quality, continuous-cast, fully
killed, control-rolled, fine-grain, low-carbon steel is
used. High performance ERW steel pipes and tubing
possess high strength corrosion resistance, high
deformability, high strength and high toughness.
Before reaching the market place, ERW steel pipes and
tubing are routed through numerous tests including a
hydro-test, an ultrasonic weld inspection, bevel check,
micrometer check, straightness evaluation, and ring
gouge to ensure it’s quality. These pipes are used in
fencing, line pipes, oil country tubulars, scaffolding,
water and gas conveyance, structural, engineering
purpose. There has been a tremendous increase in the
production of ERW steel pipes due to growing demand in
oil & gas industry, infrastructure and automobile
usages. |
